Overview

Guachimontones is one of Mexico's most unique archaeological sites—circular stepped pyramids unlike anything else in Mesoamerica. Built by the Teuchitlán culture between 300 BCE and 900 CE, the site features concentric circular platforms, a ball court, and a museum explaining this still-mysterious civilization.
