Teotihuacán
Walk among the gods at one of the ancient world's largest cities
Overview
Teotihuacán was the largest city in the pre-Columbian Americas, home to over 100,000 people at its peak around 450 AD. The massive Pyramid of the Sun and Pyramid of the Moon dominate the Avenue of the Dead, a ceremonial boulevard stretching 2.5 kilometers. The civilization remains mysterious—even the Aztecs didn't know who built it, naming it "the place where gods were born."
