Overview
Mount Batur is Bali's most popular volcano trek, offering stunning sunrise views over the crater lake and neighboring Mount Agung. The 2-hour hike starts around 3:30 AM to reach the 1,717m summit for sunrise. Guides are mandatory. After the trek, natural hot springs are available for recovery. An active volcano with the last eruption in 2000.
