Overview

Prambanan is Indonesia's largest Hindu temple complex, built in the 9th century and dedicated to the Trimurti (Shiva, Vishnu, Brahma). The main compound features three towering temples with the 47-meter Shiva temple as the centerpiece. A UNESCO World Heritage site, Prambanan showcases the height of Hindu-Javanese architecture.
