Tegallalang Rice Terraces are Bali's most photographed rice paddies, featuring dramatic stepped terraces carved into the valley hillside. The traditional Subak irrigation system has been used for over 1,000 years. Multiple viewpoints, cafes overlooking the terraces, and the famous Bali Swing are located here. Best visited in early morning to avoid crowds and heat.
